It is imperative, in this era of accelerated global warming to curb
the pollution caused by construction equipment.  It would be
wonderful if this legislation were nationwide in scope but, for
now, adopting the proposed bill to regulate in-use off-road diesel
vehicles in California will go a long way toward curbing those
behaviors that contribute to global warming.  In a state with the
greatest population in the nation and with all of the continous
construction that goes on in a state with such population, there
has to be a legislated safeguard towards stemming the tide of
global warning put out by Americans, specifically manufacturing
and construction projects.

I urge you to adopt the proposed regulation withou delay!
