I fully support the proposed regulation for in-use off-road diesel
vehicles.  My wife has asthma and diesel pollution is particularly
aggravating to her.  Thousands of children are diagnosed with
asthma each year, and the problem is acute in areas with high
diesel emissions.  The human and economic costs of this disease
are far greater than any impact this rule would have.

I support strong air standards for construction equipment in
California.
