I am writing to urge the passage of proposed regulation of
California's diesel-using construction equipment.  This equipment
accounts for the 2nd largest amount of diesel pollution in the
state.  The technology exists for the manufacturers of this
equipment to make it run cleaner, yet they won't do so unless this
type of regulation is passed.  We must put our air quality before
the profit margins of these manufacturers!  We owe it to
California's citizens and to our environment to do what we can to
clean up our act.  And this is one step towards doing so.  Please
pass this regulation for In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicles.
