Dear Board members,
  I understand you are about to make some decisions r.e. your
stance on diesel emissions.  I urge you to take the strongest
possible position to clean up the disgusting emissions of big rigs
in our state.  I get an instant headache whenever I am behind one
of these trucks and I have to pull over, wait 5 minutes and then
continue on my way, only to encounter another diesel vehicle.  The
mathematics alone, comparing the cost of using cleaning devices on
these trucks vs. the cost of an asthma attack and the misery
involved, seems to make this an obvious choice.  It is time to
clean up the secondary air that all of us must breathe.  PLEASE,
give us stronger regulations to do so.  The collective lungs of
California will thank you.
