| Comment | Dear Mary Nichols and CARB BOard, Please reconsider your decision to weaken the ZEV program. By authorizing all of the original 25,000 vehicles originally promised by the manufacturers for 2012-2104—even that, God knows, too little, too late—you'll at least give the program some teeth. Baby teeth, perhaps, but enough to give us at least a respectable presence of non-carbon-producing vehicles on California's highways. I think it also makes sense to enact a separate requirement for plug-in hybrids such that they'd be replacing dirty vehicles rather than clean ZEVs!
