Dear CARB members:
Even though I am writing to you from outside your jurisdictional
area, I would still like to urge you to insist that automobile
manufacturers provide the full 25,000 ZEV vhehicles that were
promised by 2012. I would also urge you to create a separate
category for plug in hybrid electric vehicles to replace the
internal combustion engine cars rather than allow the hyrbrids to
replace some of the ZEVs. Both our countries need to reduce our
greenhouse gas emissions and reduce our dependence on oil. As
California goes so will my province and country. Please take this
leading role that all of North America so desperately needs.
