OFFSETS FROM SINKS, SUCH AS PLANTING TREES OR AVOIDING TREE CUT-DOWNS, SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED, SINCE THEY ARE TOO DIFFICULT TO MEASURE AND OFTEN UNDER-PERFORM. REFORESTATION MUST BE DONE BUT IN A MANNER THAT MIMICS AS NEARLY AS POSSIBLE THE ECO-SYSTEM OF THE FOREST. CLEAR CUTTING AND REPLANTING IS NOT SUSTAINABLE. FORESTS MUST ME ALLOWED TO AGE NATURALLY. WE NEED TO REUSE BUILDING MATERIALS OR USE MATERIALS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE CUTTING OF TREES.
