Subject: Urge st rong action against global warming
Comment:
I support the Environmental Defense Fund's recommendations for 1)a strong cap and trade program, 2) require California's local air districts to develop Indirect Source Rules to control emissions from new developments, and 3) a 33% Renewable energy Portfolio Standard by 2020. As a concerned citizen, I have solar panels in my home that produce most of the electricity my family uses. I realize most citizens do not have the same awareness or resources to act individually, but government has a responsibility to educate and act to solve urgent public needs collectively. Please give California the strongest possible A.B. 32 Scoping Plan and follow through with effective realization of the plan. Virginia Bernal 830 N Freeman St Santa Ana, CA 92703-2314
