Subject: Support for CARB's Adoption of 33% RPS by 2020
Comment:
In the effort to fight global warming, the California Air Resources Board has been hard at work on a blueprint needed to cut global warming pollution by 30% by 2020, as required by law. This effort known as A.B. 32 Scoping Plan, is in need of some additional programs to make this groundbreaking effort work best, which include the following 3 issues: 1. the need for a well-designed cap-and-trade program 2. an Indirect Source Rule(ISR) to control emissions from development projects, and 3. a new Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS)to increase clean energy in California.
