Comment:
I am a native-born Californian, and I have seen tremendous, negative changes in our quality of life due to increases in pollution. I believe the only choice we have is to impose the strictest standards possible so as to reverse the adverse effects of increased growth of industry and population in California. I support a comprehensive cap-and-trade program, and favor requiring local air districts to develop ISR's to control emissions from new development. I also favor stepping up the Renewable Portfolio Standard to 33% to increase the use of clean energy in our state.
