arbcombo -- Webcast Problem: Feb. 28, 2017 PUBLIC WORKSHOP RE: CHANGES TO CARB HDVIP, PSIP & HEAVY-DUTY DIESEL VEHICLE I&M PROGRAMS

Posted: 01 Mar 2017 15:30:42
The staff of the California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board)
conducted a public workshop to discuss potential regulatory
changes to CARB’s Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection Program (HDVIP)
and Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP) on February 28,
2017. Staff also discussed its progress toward developing a
comprehensive inspection and maintenance program for heavy-duty
(HD) diesel vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating over
14,000 pounds for implementation in the post-2020 timeframe.
Unfortunately, there was a wide-ranging server issue that
resulted in a problem with the live webcast feed and thus limited
access to the workshop.

We apologize for these technical difficulties. A recording of
the workshop is available via this link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEcpQ36igsc

The presentation slides from the workshop are available via this

In addition, we will be holding a conference call to allow anyone
whom the webcast prevented from participating in yesterday’s
workshop to speak with CARB staff regarding the proposed PSIP and
HDVIP amendments. If you are interested in participating in this
call, please contact Inder Atwal (inder.atwal@arb.ca.gov or
916-445-0281).
