The California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff invites you to participate in a one day symposium to discuss policy mechanisms for further reductions in vehicle greenhouse gas emissions. The symposium, hosted by ARB and the Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS-Davis) at the University of California, Davis will be held at the CalEPA Headquarters Building, Byron Sher Auditorium on April 21st from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Directions to Cal/EPA Headquarters and public transit information can be found at the California Environmental Protection Agency’s web site at: http://www.calepa.ca.gov/epabldg/location.htm This meeting will be webcast and can be viewed the day of the meeting at: http://www.calepa.ca.gov/broadcast/?BDO=1 The symposium will explore what additional steps can be taken to address the shortfall between currently planned passenger vehicle GHG emission reduction programs and the GHG emission requirements in California’s Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB 32).
