Certain Consumer Product Volatile Organic Compound (VOC)
standards and related requirements will become effective on
December 31, 2008 and December 31, 2009. This notice is part of
a technical assessment performed prior to the effective dates
for each of the VOC limits.  The goal of this notice is to learn
about the progress the industry is making to comply with the
upcoming VOC standards.  For your convenience a letter
describing the affected consumer products categories and
associated standards can be found on the Consumer Products web
