The Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice, Los Angeles Environmental Justice Network, The Community Foundation Serving Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, California Environmental Protection Agency, and US Environmental Protection Agency -- Invite you to attend a workshop: Tools and Resources to Help Communities Fight Pollution. ======================================================= Two identical workshops will be held, so pick the one that works best for you! Workshop 1: December 8, 2008 from 10am-2pm Banning’s Landing Community Center 100 E. Water St., Wilmington, CA Workshop 2: December 11, 2008 from 10am-2pm Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice 7701 Mission Blvd., Riverside, CA 951-360-8451 The workshop will help you learn about: Opportunities to apply for EPA and other funds Steps for putting together a successful grant application Tools and resources for accessing information on environmental risks in your community Ideas on how to use this information for community-based decision-making and action Most importantly, we are looking for feedback from you on how we can best help you use these tools and resources in your communities.
