arbcombo -- Designation of the Sud-Chemie EnviCat-DPF as a Level 3 Plus Verification for Stationary Engines

This notice is to inform you of an updated verification for the
Sud-Chemie EnviCat-DPF Particulate Trap for stationary engines. 

  
The ARB has designated the stationary diesel engine verification
of the Süd-Chemie Inc. EnviCat-DPF Particulate Trap as a Plus
system meeting the January 1, 2009 nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
requirements.  The EnviCat-DPF has been verified as being able to
achieve a Level 3 particulate matter reduction (at least 85%) for
1996 through 2008 model year certified off-road diesel engines
that emit 0.2 g/bhp-hr particulate matter or less when used in
stationary prime and emergency standby generators and pumps.
