SUBJECT: REVISED DRAFT OF THE PROPOSED STATE STRATEGY FOR CALIFORNIA’S STATE IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR 8-HOUR OZONE AND PM2.5 NOW AVAILABLE The revised draft of the Proposed State Strategy for California’s State Implementation Plan (SIP) for 8-hour ozone and PM2.5 is now available at http://www.arb.ca.gov/planning/sip/2007sip/2007sip.htm The SIP for 8-hour ozone and PM2.5 are due to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2007 and 2008, respectively. The Board is tentatively scheduled to conduct a public meeting on June 21-22, 2007 to consider approval of the Proposed State Strategy for California’s State Implementation Plan (SIP). ARB staff will release additional technical supporting documentation by May 7, 2007, 45 days prior to the Board’s consideration of the proposed State Strategy.
