What's New List Serve Post Display

The California Climate Action Registry (CCAR) invites you to
participate in the second workshop to discuss the draft update to
the CCAR forest project protocol. 

The Air Resources Board adopted the CCAR forest protocols in
October 2007 as non-regulatory quantification methods for
purposes of voluntary greenhouse gas accounting.  The Board
directed ARB staff to work with CCAR to initiate a process to
update the protocols in order to encourage broader forest sector
involvement and reduce potential barriers to participation.  CCAR
created the Forest Protocol Workgroup, which has been meeting for
over a year to work toward those goals, and to further improve
other aspects of the protocol.  

This is the second of two public workshops.  At the first public
workshop, on December 5, 2008, the Forest Protocol Workgroup
presented updates that had been finalized over the past year. 
This second workshop will focus on the updated wood products
component of the protocol.

CCAR welcomes all public participation and comments.  The
workshop will be held at the following time and location:

presentation prior to the workshop and follow the proceedings
with the audio-only option.
