arbcombo -- Lawn and Garden Equipment Replacement (LGER) Program Work Group Meeting - February 11, 2009

Assembly Bill (AB) 118 established the Air Quality Improvement
Program (AQIP), which will provide about $50 million per year for
grants to fund clean vehicle and equipment projects to reduce
criteria and toxic air pollutants as well as research on the air
quality impacts of alternative fuels and advanced technology
vehicles. Lawn and garden equipment replacement is listed as one
of the eight broad project types eligible for funding. 

ARB staff invites you to participate in a working group meeting
in Sacramento to present updated concepts and receive feedback on
the ARB’s Lawn and Garden Equipment Replacement (LGER) Program. 

The working group meeting will be held at the Cal/EPA building
at 1001 I Street in Sacramento starting at 10:00am in conference
room 720 on Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Participants may either
attend in person or call-in.  If you are planning on attending in
person, please RSVP at the email below. Seating is limited within
the meeting room and participants are encouraged to call-in:

on the first floor and staff will be available to escort
participants to the conference room.
