The staff of the California Air Resources Board is seeking comments to the California Biodiesel Multimedia Evaluation Tier I Report, released on January 16, 2009. Please note that the meeting notice for the Biodiesel/Renewable Diesel Workgroup Meeting, dated February 10, 2009, requested comments on the Tier I report to be submitted by February 26, 2009. However, the comment period for the Tier I Report has now been extended to March 25, 2009. Comments may be submitted to Mr. Robert Okamoto at rokamoto@arb.ca.gov or Ms. Aubrey Sideco at asideco@arb.ca.gov. The Tier I report is posted on the Fuels Multimedia Evaluation webpage at http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/multimedia/multimedia.htm and the meeting notice and agenda for the Biodiesel/Renewable Diesel Workgroup Meeting on March 12, 2009 is posted on the Biodiesel webpage at http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/diesel/altdiesel/biodiesel.htm. Please note that the comment period for both the Tier I and Tier II reports have been extended. The Tier II test protocol will be released before the end of the Tier I comment period. The comment period for the Tier II report will be announced.
