ghg-rep -- Release of Potential Definition Revisions for Electric Power Entity Greenhouse Gas Reporting - June 19, 2012 Technical Webinar
Posted: 14 Jun 2012 16:28:23
The Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) staff has posted potential revisions to definitions for the Regulation for the Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (title 17, California Code of Regulations, sections 95100- 95157) (Mandatory Reporting Regulation). ARB staff will conduct a technical webinar on June 19 at 1 pm to discuss the potential definition revisions and clarify the potential changes to regulation text posted on May 29 for the electric power entities. See posting here: http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/reporting/ghg-rep/revision_2012/revision_2012.htm On May 30, ARB held a workshop to discuss potential revisions to the Mandatory Reporting Requirements as described in the workshop notice, http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/reporting/ghg-rep/2012-revision/revisions_notice_may2012.pdf, which contains important web links. Stakeholders may submit written comments by June 25, 2012 on the potential revisions and on issues raised during the May 30 workshop or June 19 webinar. It is anticipated that any changes to the Mandatory Reporting regulation requirements adopted in 2012 will apply to the reporting of calendar year 2012 emissions by June 1, 2013. The Mandatory Reporting regulation is designed to collect greenhouse gas emissions using accurate and transparent methods from reporting entities around California to support multiple climate change initiatives at the Air Resources Board.
