arbcombo -- Revised LCFS Mixed-Feedstock Bio/Renewable Diesel Guidance and New Fuel Pathways Documents have been posted
Posted: 03 Dec 2012 13:14:36
California Air Resources Board staff has posted a revised version of its guidance document discussing how the carbon intensities of mixed feedstock bio- and renewable diesel fuels are to be calculated under the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). In addition, two new fuel pathways have been posted. All documents have been posted to the LCFS website at this location: http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/lcfs/2a2b/2a-2b-apps.htm. Pursuant to Regulatory Advisory 10-04, upon posting on the LCFS website, these pathways and their associated carbon intensity values may be used for reporting and credit generation purposes. If you have any questions, please contact Wes Ingram, Manager, Fuels Evaluation Section, at (916) 322-3984. The Low Carbon Fuel Standard, a regulation to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels sold in California ten percent by 2020, is one of the measures adopted by the California Air Resources Board, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 38500 38599 (AB 32) to reduce greenhouse gases in California. It is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels to improve California's energy security and energy independence.
