arbcombo -- Verification of the Cleaire LongMile-S Diesel Particulate Filter System for On-Road Diesel Vehicles

The Air Resources Board (ARB) has verified the Cleaire Advanced Emission Controls, LLC LongMile-S diesel particulate filter system for select 1993 through 2010 model year heavy-duty diesel engines used in on-road applications. The LongMile-S system reduces emissions of diesel particulate matter by at least 85 percent and is designated as a Level 3 Plus system. The primary components of the passively-regenerated LongMile-S system include a diesel oxidation catalyst, a silicon carbide wall-flow filter, and an electronic monitoring system. The LongMile-S system is compatible with on-road vehicles using diesel fuel that contains up to 20 percent biodiesel.
