The Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) will conduct a public workshop at the time and place noted below to discuss a staff proposal for information sharing from the Cap-and-Trade Program. DATE: January 25, 2013 TIME: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM PLACE: California Environmental Protection Agency Air Resources Board Byron Sher Auditorium 1001 I Street Sacramento, California 95814 A live webcast of the hearing will be available at http://www.calepa.ca.gov/broadcast/?BDO=1. Additional meeting materials will be posted at http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/capandtrade/meetings/meetings.htm as the hearing approaches. BACKGROUND: The California Cap on Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Market-Based Compliance Mechanisms Regulation was adopted by the California Air Resources Board in October of 2011, and formally went into effect January 1, 2012. The workshop will provide a staff proposal (e.g. type of information and frequency of release) for public information sharing on various parts of the Cap-and-Trade Program. Staff will also seek input on specific items related to market information. Public information sharing was first discussed in a September 24, 2012, public meeting of the Emissions Market Assessment Committee. Staff prepared a Draft Cap-and-Trade Public Information Plan for that workshop.
