research -- ARB accepting research ideas through May 31, 2013

The California Air Resources Board (ARB) is extending the deadline for its solicitation for brief research ideas from the general public as part of its 2014-2015 research planning process. Research ideas submitted by the previous deadline (January 31, 2013) do not need to be re-submitted; all submissions will be evaluated after the new May 31, 2013 deadline. Research ideas are limited to 200 words and should very clearly articulate why the idea is relevant to ARB’s policies and/or programs. It should include clearly stated research objective(s), a very brief description of methods that could or would be employed, and what the final product or deliverable of the research would be. Information on time and funding needed to conduct the research is helpful but not required. You may wish to review ARB’s programs or previous research plans. Only ideas that clearly demonstrate policy relevance to ARB will be considered.
