Posted: 12 Jun 2013 15:39:22
California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has posted fourteen new Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) pathways to the LCFS web site. All are available at http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/lcfs/2a2b/2a-2b-apps.htm Pursuant to section 95486(f)(3)(J) of the LCFS regulation, these pathways are deemed to be available for use (reporting and credit-generation) once they are posted to the ARB web site referenced above. For each pathway, we have also posted on the web site a Staff Summary that sets forth all applicable operating conditions and related findings. If you have any questions, please contact Wes Ingram, Manager, Fuels Evaluation Section, at (916) 322-3984. The Low Carbon Fuel Standard, a regulation to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels sold in California ten percent by 2020, is one of the measures adopted by the California Air Resources Board, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 38500-38599 (AB 32) to reduce greenhouse gases in California. It is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels to improve California's energy security and energy independence.
