What's New List Serve Post Display

This message is to remind you about the Air Resources Board’s
(ARB) upcoming discussion session regarding the differences
between ARB’s Airborne Toxic Control Measure to Reduce
Formaldehyde Emissions from Composite Wood Products (Composite
Wood Products ATCM) and proposed United States Environmental
Protection Agency’s (U.S. EPA) regulations. The discussion
session is scheduled for August 1, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM
(Pacific Time) at the Cal/EPA Headquarters in Sacramento.  For
those unable to attend in person, this workshop will be webcast.

If you are interested in making a presentation during the
discussion session, please contact Ms. Angela Csondes at the
email noted below.  To provide adequate time to cover all the
discussion topics, we ask that presentations be limited to 10
minutes and that you email any slide presentations to Ms. Csondes
by 12 PM on July 31st.  

Following the discussion session, there will be a separate
meeting with U.S. EPA and any interested third party certifiers
to discuss U.S. EPA’s proposed rule.  This meeting/conference
call will be optional to third party certifiers.  We will post
the conference call number on our website at
http://www.arb.ca.gov/toxics/compwood/compwood.htm under
“Updates” as soon as it becomes available.  

Implementation of the Composite Wood Products ATCM  is helping to
reduce exposures to emissions of formaldehyde, a toxic air
