compwood -- Public Workshop Regarding Proposed Amendments to ARB's Composite Wood Products ATCM

This message is to remind you about the Air Resources Board’s upcoming public workshop to discuss proposed amendments to the Composite Wood Products Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM). As indicated in the October 23, 2013 workshop notice, during the workshop, ARB staff will facilitate a focused discussion on laminated products with the goal of identifying an alternative approach to regulating laminated products that can be incorporated both into the ATCM and the final U.S. EPA regulation. To that end, ARB staff has drafted an alternative approach to initiate the discussion on laminated products which is posted at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/toxics/compwood/laminateddiscussion.pdf. We welcome your participation in this discussion. If you are interested in providing a brief presentation or formal statement at the workshop, please contact Ms. Angela Csondes at the e-mail below. To ensure adequate time for all potential presenters, we ask that your presentation/statement be limited to 5-10 minutes and that you e-mail any slide presentations to Ms. Csondes by 12pm on November 19th. The workshop is scheduled for November 20, 2013 from 9:30 am to 2 pm (PST) at the Cal/EPA Headquarters in Sacramento. For those unable to attend in person, this workshop will be webcast. There is no registration required to participate in person or via webcast.
