WEBINAR June 24: EPA’s Air Quality Rules for Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE) and Their Application to Combined Heat and Power (CHP). Tuesday, June 24, 2014, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EDT The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) has issued air quality regulations for reciprocating internal combustion engines (RICE) that place requirements on manufacturers, owners and operators of a wide variety of emergency and non-emergency stationary engines including CHP systems that have a gas-fired reciprocating engine as the prime mover. Depending on the engine type, CHP system owners and operators may need to meet operating and maintenance requirements, install controls, or conduct a performance test.
