What's New List Serve Post Display

The 2014 Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Advisory Panel will meet
on Monday, October 6, 2014. Section 95489 of the LCFS regulation
requires the Executive Officer to conduct two reviews of the LCFS
program in a public process.  The Executive Officer is also
required to convene a Panel with which he will consult on the
reviews.  The reviews will address a broad range of
implementation topics and may include recommended amendments to
the regulation.  ARB staff has posted the following information
to the LCFS Advisory Panel webpage

The LCFS is designed to reduce the carbon content of fuels sold
in California by ten percent by 2020.  The LCFS is one of the
measures adopted by the California Air Resources Board pursuant
to Health and Safety Code sections 38500-38599 (AB 32) to reduce
greenhouse gases in California.  It is designed to help clean the
air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean,
low-carbon fuels.
