The California Air Resources Board is announcing a public Board
hearing for the  following three proposed regulatory items: 
Proposed adoption of a regulation governing the commercialization
of motor vehicle alternative diesel fuels (ADF); Proposed
re-adoption of an updated low carbon fuel standard (LCFS); and
Proposed adoption of evaporative emission control requirements
for spark-ignition marine watercraft (SIMW or marine watercraft).

Interested members of the public may present comments orally or
in writing at the meeting and may provide comments by postal mail
or by electronic submittal before the meeting.  The public
comment period for this regulatory action will begin on 
January 2, 2015.  To be considered by the Board, written comments
not physically submitted at the meeting must be submitted on or
after January 2, 2015 and received no later than 5:00 p.m. on
February 17, 2015, and must be addressed to the following:

1)	Proposed Adoption of a Regulation Governing the
Commercialization of Motor Vehicle Alternative Diesel Fuels.

This notice, the Initial Statement of Reasons (ISOR) and all
subsequent regulatory documents, including the Final Statement of
Reasons (FSOR), when completed, are available on ARB’s Web site
for this rulemaking at

2)	Proposed Re-Adoption of an Updated Low Carbon Fuel Standard.

This notice, the ISOR and all subsequent regulatory documents,

A single coordinated programmatic Draft Environmental Analysis
(EA) was prepared for the two proposed regulatory actions
described above in accordance with ARB’s certified regulatory
program to comply with the California Environmental Quality Act. 
The Draft EA is included as Appendix D to the ISORs for the
proposed ADF and LCFS egulations and entitled Draft Environmental
Analysis prepared for the Low Carbon Fuel Standard and
Alternative Diesel Fuel Regulations.  Written comments on the
Draft EA, submitted as described above, will be accepted during
the public review period starting on January 2, 2015, and ending
at 5:00 pm on February 17, 2015.

Written comments on the Draft Environmental Analysis must be
submitted on or before February 17, 2015 to be considered timely
filed.  

3)	Proposed Adoption of Evaporative Emission Control Requirements
for Spark-Ignition Marine Watercraft.
