MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY REPORT TEMPLATE AND DATA DEFINITION UPDATES. The Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) updated the Manufacturer’s Warranty Report template and the Manufacturer’s Warranty Report Data Definitions. Effective immediately, manufacturers must use the new template to submit their warranty report. Background: The Verification Procedure is used to evaluate diesel emission control strategies to determine if they obtain real and durable reductions of particulate matter and/or oxides of nitrogen thereby allowing them to be used as fleet rule compliance options. The Procedure requires DECS manufacturers and the authorized installers to provide yearly warranty reports or whenever the valid warranty rate exceeds 4% (whichever occurs first).
