The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Data Quality Assurance and
Verification Section in the Program Planning and Management
Branch has two vacant positions for which it is seeking highly
competent candidates with experience in GHG verification,
environmental program auditing, and/or GHG inventory development.

The Section is responsible for ensuring the impartiality and
quality of third-party verifications—overseeing the screening,
training, accreditation, and performance of verifiers and
verification bodies pursuant to the Regulation for the Mandatory
Reporting of GHG Emissions (MRR). The MRR Program is responsible
for providing the data required to run ARB’s Cap-and-Trade
program.
