Posted: 13 Aug 2015 11:57:00
The California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has posted draft 2013 data from the Consumer and Commercial Products Survey (Survey) for public review. The draft data includes a list of the responsible parties that have completed 2013 data reporting and a list of responsible parties that reported 2013 data by product category. The newly posted materials are available on the Consumer Products Program website at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/consprod/regact/2013surv/2013main.htm. Please send any comments regarding this document to csmrprod@arb.ca.gov by COB Friday, August 28, 2015. In the subject line of the email, please use “Draft 2013 Data Comments.” Also, as a reminder, from 10am-1pm PDT on September 16, 2015, ARB staff plan to have a webinar to provide a forum for responding to questions related to the 2014 data reporting for the Consumer Products Program. Registration for the webinar is available here: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/119958542. ARB’s Consumer Products Program is a key part of overall efforts to reduce the amount of smog-forming volatile organic compounds, toxic air contaminants, and greenhouse gasses that are emitted from the use of chemically formulated consumer products in California. ARB’s Consumer Products Regulations have resulted in reduced statewide emissions from consumer products by an estimated 50 percent since 1990. ARB’s Survey is an important step in collecting information on consumer products that are sold or supplied for use in California. The data collected from the Survey are designed to support the statewide consumer product inventory, speciation profiles used in criteria pollutant modelling, and future rulemakings. If you have any questions about the 2014 data reporting or have general questions regarding the Consumer Products Program, please contact csmrprod@arb.ca.gov. General information about the Consumer Products Program is also available here: http://www.arb.ca.gov/consprod/consprod.htm. California is in a drought emergency.
