You are invited to participate in an upcoming webinar on the development of the California Sustainable Freight Strategy action plan. Date: October 1, 2015 Time: 11:00 AM-12:00 PM PDT During the webinar, staff will provide an overview of the plan development process, proposed content, as well as seek public input on what potential actions (e.g. measures, incentives, funding, partnerships) are needed to develop a sustainable freight transport system in California. The meeting will only be held via webinar; there will be no in-person or other component. Background In July 2015, Governor Brown issued Executive Order B-32-15, which directs his administration to create an integrated freight action plan by July 2016 that establishes clear targets to improve freight efficiency, transition to zero-emission technologies, and increase competitiveness of California’s freight system.
