What's New List Serve Post Display

Interested Community Members and Stakeholders: 

In June and July 2007, Air Resources Board (ARB) staff
presented
to the public draft railyard health risk assessments for three
railyards located in Northern California. These were prepared
under the 2005 Railroad Agreement between ARB and Union Pacific
Railroad (UP) and BNSF Railway (BNSF). Since then, ARB staff
has
been reviewing the comments and incorporating appropriate
changes
to finalize the health risk assessments (HRA). ARB staff
expects
the HRAs to be completed by November 19th, 2007. 

Consistent with the Agreement, ARB staff would now like to meet
with air district staff, community members, and the railroads
to
discuss potential railyard mitigation measures to reduce the
risks identified in the HRAs. The date, time, location is
