research -- REMINDER: Submit research ideas by September 6, 2016 for ARBs 2017-2018 Research Plan

Research Ideas will be accepted through September 6, 2016, 11:59 PM, PST. The California Air Resources Board (ARB) is soliciting brief research ideas from the general public as part of the process of developing the 2017-2018 Annual Research Plan. Although ARB accepts research ideas year round, September 6, 2016 is the deadline for submissions to be considered for inclusion in ARB’s 2017-2018 Research Plan. Research ideas are limited to 300 words and should very clearly articulate why the idea is relevant to ARB’s policies and/or programs. It should include clearly stated research objective(s), a very brief description of methods that could or would be employed, and what the final product or deliverable of the research would be. Information on time and funding needed to conduct the research is helpful but not required. You may wish to review ARB’s programs or previous research plans. Only ideas that clearly demonstrate policy relevance to ARB will be considered. This Plan includes background on the research program’s goals, past research highlights, and information on current research initiatives.
