The Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) will conduct a public
meeting at the time and place noted below to consider approval of
the Portola Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5) State Implementation
Plan (SIP) that was developed by the Northern Sierra Air Quality
Management District (District).  If approved by the Board, ARB
will submit this SIP to the United States Environmental
Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) for approval as a revision to the
California SIP.

This item will be considered at a one-day meeting of the Board,
which will commence at 9:00 a.m., February 16, 2017.  This item
is scheduled to be heard on the Board’s Consent Calendar.  All
agenda items on the Consent Calendar, unless removed upon the
request of a Board member or if someone in the audience submits a
request to speak card on that item, will be voted on by the Board
immediately after the start of the public meeting.


WRITTEN COMMENT PERIOD AND SUBMITTAL OF COMMENTS 
Interested members of the public may present comments verbally or
in writing at the meeting and may submit written comments before
the meeting by postal mail or by electronic submittal.  To be
considered by the Board, written comments not physically
submitted at the meeting must be received no later than 5:00
p.m., February 13, 2017, and addressed to the following:

Please note that under the California Public Records Act
(Government Code section 6250 et seq.), your written and verbal
comments, attachments, and associated contact information (e.g.,

ARB requests that written statements on this item be filed at
least ten days prior to the meeting so that ARB staff and Board
members have additional time to consider each comment, but
written statements will be accepted until 5 p.m. on February 13.
