Meetings Regarding Zero Emission Buses

ARB staff is currently reviewing the technology for ZBuses. The following information highlights the public workshops, meetings with the regulated community, and related materials. Non-confidential documents that the stakeholders submit will also be posted here.

Meeting Date	Details
July 23, 2009	The Air Resources Board held a public meeting on July 23, 2009 in San Diego, CA to discuss the status of the Zero Emission Bus regulation. At the Board meeting, staff provided an update on ZBus technology, recommended a delay in the ZBus purchase requirement, and requested additional time to monitor and assess the 12 ZBus demonstration about to begin in the San Francisco Bay Area. May 20 and 21, 2009	The Air Resources Board held two public workshops. The first was on May 20, 2009 at the South Coast Air Quality Management District. The second was on May 21, 2009 in Sacramento at 13th and T street. These workshops provided an update on ZBus technology, provided an opportunity to comment on suggested program changes that would enhance successful commercialization of ZBus’, and promoted reductions in smog and greenhouse gas emission from transit fleets.
