CTA Kicks Off Chip
Reflash Program in Central Coast Unit on August 12

The
California Trucking Association (CTA) recently launched a temporary
voluntary program for FREE low NOx software installation (also known as
chip reflash) in eligible 1993-1999 model year diesel vehicles at
authorized California dealers. This is a joint program that relies on
the participation of the engine manufacturers, dealers, the CTA, the
California Air Resources Board (ARB), and the owners of vehicles
eligible for low NOx software upgrades.
CTA
and ARB will be holding an educational/press event and FREE LUNCHEON
for the California Voluntary Chip Reflash Program on August 12, 2004 at
Forest Park Inn from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The address is 375
Leavesley Road, Gilroy, California. If you own 1993-1999 model year
trucks, come learn more about how to get your engines reflashed for
FREE! If you do NOT own 1993-1999 trucks, tell someone who does! CTA
members and non-members alike are encouraged to attend! For more

Reflash Program is moving on to the Bay Area

California Trucking Association (CTA) will be holding its next
educational/press event and FREE LUNCHEON for the California Voluntary
Chip Reflash Program on July 15, 2004 at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park
in Oakland from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The voluntary program provides
truck owners with FREE low NOx software installation (also known as
chip reflash) in eligible 1993-1999 model year diesel vehicles at
authorized California dealers. This event will feature an actual
reflash procedure performed at the event, so come see how it’s done!

press event and educational program at the Commercial Exchange Club on
June 17, 2004 to officially kick off the California Voluntary Chip
Reflash program in the San Joaquin Unit. If you own 1993-1999 model
year trucks, come learn more about how to get your engines reflashed
for FREE! If you do NOT own 1993-1999 trucks, tell someone who does!

Chip Reflash Program Kickoff May 13, 2004 in CTA’s Sacramento Unit
CTA is
kicking off the California Voluntary Chip Reflash Program this
Thursday, 5/13/04, at 11 a.m. at CTA Headquarters in West Sacramento.
The event will be a combination press conference and educational
program for truck owners, with a free luncheon hosted by CTA. If you
own 1993-1999 model year trucks, come learn how to have low-NOx
software upgrades installed on your trucks for FREE. For more
