Dear Sir or Madam:

The staff of the Air Resources Board (ARB) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, September 28, 1999, to discuss the draft document: A Potential Health and Environmental Impacts from Leaf Blowers. The Senate has requested that ARB prepare and submit such a report to the Legislature by January 1, 2000, addressing potential impacts from exhaust, noise, and blown dust on operators of leaf blowers and the public at large, using existing studies. The time and place of the meeting are:

Date: September 28, 1999
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Place: Air Resources Board, Annex 4 Auditorium
