12/23/04:
A revised draft of the proposed regulation for the "Particulate Matter Control Measure for On-road Heavy Duty Diesel Fleet Vehicles Owned/Operated by Public Agencies and Utilities" is available for review. Staff does not plan to have a workshop, but we are requesting your comments on the revised draft by January 21, 2005. 10/27/04:
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger recently signed new legislation that significantly expands the scope and funding of the Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program (the Carl Moyer Program).
The ARB will host a series of public workshops in late November and early December to discuss the new requirements and begin the process of revising the Carl Moyer Program guidelines. For a copy of the Workshop Notice with dates and locations, go to (the Carl Moyer Program).

Public workshops for the "Proposed Particulate Matter Control Measure for On-road Heavy Duty Diesel Fleet Vehicles Owned/Operated by Public Agencies or Utility Companies" have been scheduled on October 7, 2004 in El Monte, CA and on October 8, 2004 in Sacramento, CA. The Sacramento workshop will also be webcasted at Cal/EPA Live Webcasts - ARB. Draft regulations will be available prior to the workshops and will be posted on this website. The draft regulation, Proposed Diesel Particulate Matter Control Measure for On-Road Heavy-DutyDiesel-Fueled Fleet Vehicles Owned and Operated by Public Agencies and Utilities, is now available. Included in the draft regulation is a proposal to include privately-owned utilities in the scope.
