If you did not report to claim loan denial as a good faith effort, are currently noncompliant and want to apply for the Economic Hardship Provision, details will be available soon. You will remain noncompliant until you have been determined to meet the criteria of the Economic Hardship Provision. Vehicle owners that are noncompliant or fail to complete the good faith efforts to comply with the regulation by July 1, 2014, may be subject to penalties and possible Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) registration holds.
