the manufacturer as the maximum loaded weight of a single vehicle. The

A "box-type" trailer is either a dry van or refrigerated van trailer
that is not a drop frame trailer. Does not include curtain side vans,
flat bed trailers, or other types of trailers.
A "dry van" trailer is an enclosed, rectangular non-climate controlled trailer.
A "refrigerated van" (or reefer) is a rectangular trailer that has either a refrigeration or heating unit built into it.
"Transport Refrigeration Units (TRUs)" are refrigeration systems
powered by diesel internal combustion engines designed to refrigerate
or heat perishable products that are transported in various containers,
including semi-trailers, truck vans, shipping containers, and rail cars.
"Diesel-Fueled Auxiliary Power Systems" are diesel-fueled ancillary
power systems that use small diesel engines to generate power for cab
heating, cab cooling, and operating auxiliary cab appliances.
"School bus" is a motor vehicle as defined in California Vehicle Code, section 545 and transports pupils.
"Shuttle vehicle" means a diesel-powered motor vehicle of any gross
vehicle weight rating with a capacity of 10 or more passengers,
routinely driving an average of 10 trips per day to or from airport
terminals, marine terminals, and rail based stations.
