California Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Guide

This page last reviewed May 10, 2010

Fuel cell and hydrogen technologies have made substantial progress in the last decade and are positioned to make significant improvements in efficiency, air quality, greenhouse gas emission reductions as well as increase energy security and green jobs in California. This resource guide was developed in 2004 to catalog companies and organizations working to facilitate the development and deployment of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies in the State of California. Although we are not planning to update the directory this year, we will provide new case studies once the Air Resources Board funded hydrogen stations are up and running sometime in mid-2010. To learn more about these stations visit the California Hydrogen Highway Network. Hopefully, the guide can still be used to identify opportunities for job creation and networking. Some additional resources incude:

"Jobs vs. the environment" is a false choice. Overwhelming evidence demonstrates that clean air and water result in a more productive work force, and a healthier economy…." Governor Schwarzenagger, Action Plan for California's Environment.
