He is a mechanical engineer who has spent his entire career
working on motor vehicle pollution control issues at the local,
national and international level.

Fritz R. Kalhammer
(Biography) |
After
more than 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility
at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Dr. Kalhammer
retired in 1995 and is now an independent consultant in energy
and process technology, with focus on battery and fuel cell
technology for electric and hybrid electric vehicles.

M. Kopf
(Biography) |
Bruce
Kopf is a retired senior management member of Ford's electric
vehicle product development team. Kopf began as a member,
and subsequently became a leader, of several Ford teams that
conducted in-depth engineering/business feasibility studies
of purpose built battery electric vehicle alternatives.

Vernon
Roan is a retired Professor of Mechanical Engineering from
the University of Florida. Over his long distinguished career,
Roan consulted for over 20 organizations, mostly in the areas
of electric and hybrid vehicles, fuel cell systems, and fuels.

Swan has seventeen years of professional research and development
experience in energy conversion and storage systems. He specializes
in the design and application of battery, fuel cell and hydrogen
