State Air Board to Consider San Joaquin Valley Particulate Plan
Thursday, June 26
9:00 a.m.
San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District
1990 East Gettysburg Avenue
Fresno, California
The proposed air quality plan, approved last week by the air district, addresses the San Joaquin Valley’s federal non-attainment status for particulate matter smaller than 10 microns in diameter, known as PM10. The plan outlines state and local strategies to cut Valley particulate matter emissions in order to meet health-based air quality standards set forth in federal law.
A webcast of the hearing will be available from www.arb.ca.gov.
