SACRAMENTO - A workshop to discuss future regulations for on-road and off-road motorcycles will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the California Air Resources Board's Southern California office, 9528 Telstar Ave., El Monte.
Emissions reductions for
new on-road motorcycles will be discussed from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with
a proposal for a new regional/seasonal usage allowance for non-certified,
off-road motorcycles and all terrain vehicles discussed after lunch from
2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
These proposals are scheduled
to be voted on by the ARB Board at its monthly meeting in Sacramento Dec.

The Air Resources Board is a department of the California Environmental Protection Agency. ARB's mission is to promote and protect public health, welfare, and ecological resources through effective reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering effects on the economy. The ARB oversees all air pollution control efforts in California to attain and maintain health based air quality standards.
