Student Opportunities

The Air Resources Board (ARB) is interested in hiring student assistants to work on ARB projects and gain valuable experience.  Student positions are available periodically for undergraduates and graduate students who are able to commute to our Sacramento or El Monte offices to work during the school year and during school breaks.
Students assist ARB staff with on-going projects and assignments. This type of on-the-job experience is very valuable to the student in relating the concepts of the college curriculum and the reality of the workplace. Many students become permanent ARB employees after their favorable work experience during their college years and completion of the appropriate civil service examination.
