2013 PM10 SIP Revisions


On September 16, 2013, the District's Board adopted amendments to the Attainment Demonstration SIP for the Owens Valley PM10 nonattainment area.

2011 PM10 SIP Revisions


On July 18, 2011, the District's Board adopted the Managed Vegetation Best Available Control Measure, an amendment to the Attainment Demonstration SIP for the Owens Valley PM10 nonattainment area.

2008 PM10 Attainment Demonstration SIP


In February 2008, the District's Board adopted the 2008 Owens Valley PM10 Attainment Demonstration Plan.  The Plan reflects a settlement agreement reached between the District and the City of Los Angeles (City) concerning the level of additional control needed for the Owens dry lake bed to attain the PM10 federal standard and revised the 2003 SIP for this area.

2003 PM10 SIP Revisions


In November 2003, the District's Board adopted revisions to the PM10 Attainment Demonstration SIP.  The plan revises and documents compliance with the 1998 SIP.

1998 PM10 Attainment Demonstration SIP


The 1998 Owens Valley PM10 Planning Area Demonstration of Attainment SIP documents a dust control agreement reached between the Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District and the City of Los Angeles to reduce windblown dust from the Owens Lake bed as needed and achieve PM10 air quality standards as required by the federal Clean Air Act.

2010 PM10 Maintenance Plan


At a public meeting held on June 24, 2010, the ARB approved the Coso Junction PM10 Maintenance Plan and Redesignation Request.  The following links connect to submittal letters, resolutions, the ARB staff report, the final PM10 Maintenance Plan, and U.S. EPA actions.

1995 PM10 Planning Area SIP

2014 PM10 Maintenance Plan and Redesignation Request


At a public meeting held on September 18, 2014, the ARB approved the Mammoth Lakes PM10 Maintenance Plan and Redesignation Request.  On October 21, 2014, the Plan and Redesignation Request, along with all supporting materials, were submitted to U.S. EPA.
