March 19, 2008 Meeting
A meeting will be held on March 19, 2008, in Sacramento to discuss Phase II of staff's efforts to reduce hotelling emissions from ocean-going vessels. Staff anticipates developing a regulation by the end of the year to reduce at-berth emissions from vehicle carriers, bulk and general cargo ships, tankers, and tugboats.
